A book to read

This might be the most challenging blog of them all for me because i dont partake if this past time often, this isnt me trying to brag or be cool by saying i dont read its just the truth. A book i would recommend that i have read is one called monster. This is a book written by walter dean myers a young adult book writer. This book is set in new york and is based a round a troubled kid who is on trial for murder. The kid is falsely accused of the crime and through out the trial he is made to feel like a monster by various testimonies that people are delivering. ultimately the kid is sent to jail and at the time he is only 18 years old. through out the book the he sees what a true monster is and he sees how to better himself and take responsibility for his actions

together

The power in numbers is a tremendousness one. All it takes is one person to view things in another fashion and get others to open their eyes and see this alternate way of life. MLK was a great man who was able to speak his mind and convey his message to all listeners, with this power he was able to change minds and broaden horizons to places many never considered remotely possible. All the things he was able to accomplish weren't just done by him, he wouldn't have nearly the amount of power he had with out his outstanding number of followers. When a group of people stand up for the right thing they have the power to change injustices if they are truly committed.

Invisible

There is always a point in every-bodies life where they have felt invisible
Being invisible benefits everybody in different ways but also can hurt at the same time. Being invisible at Whitney Young would benefit me more then anybody else at the school because of my "reputation" witch is a bunch of BS because most of the staff creates a persona for me that doesn't even fit me, they make these false accusations based upon what they have heard and not seen for themselves personally. The minute i walk in on the first day of class i am immediately  profiled as they kid that either A. wont be there or B. the kid that will be there but will be loud, detracting to others, disrespectful and or belligerent. So the student teacher relationship is decimated based off of what others have said. I'm given a title that doesn't actually fit me, if anybody really took the time out to see who i am or try to understand my motive then maybe they would understand the real Perry Beals not just a persona that have been created by others but i'm sure nobody really cares seeing as teachers get paid regardless

movie review

The movie I picked to review is catch me if you can.
Ive heard about this movie since it came out but i never took out the time to watch it. I was flipping through the many Comcast movie channels the other day and as i was just about to give up and watch sponge bob i saw that catch me if you can had just started. The movie is based on a true story about a young kid that runs away from home and takes on many different professions and is able to successfully to fool everybody into thinking he is who he says he is. He travels the united states and writes fake checks

good food review

This is a subject i can talk about all day
I love food as I'm sure many of us do. When i graduate i would like to purse a career in the culinary arts and further my understanding of good food and thus broadening my horizons in the process. Good food is all in the eye of the beholder, I'm not much of a picky eater so my bias is minimal. I truly enjoy the various foods we are able to enjoy because we live in such a diverse country, this gives me insight as to the lifestyles of other society and also their native plants. There are so many variables that go into making food "good" there is a balance between sweet and sour, tart and bitterness.

unexamined life isn't worth living.

I believe the unexamined life is worth living because somebody always have family and to their family they are important. The unexamined life always has meaning because its never too late to change the persons tendencies and make their life more interesting. If the person chooses to live a life that doesnt involve much of anything then that is their choice its not up to me or anybody else to pick how they should live. My life is filled with ups and downs and i wouldnt have it any other way. the way i live my life has made me the person i am today and i am happy with the choices i have made. If somebody isnt harming anyone and they just enjoy a smiple life then they have the right to live their life.
