when this blog was assigned the class was in shambles. mr mccarthy wasnt able to deal with our rambunctiousness and at times would appear to be one of the students in class with his constant bickering between him and the students. now the class seems to be on track and we are making an extensive amount of progress from the begging of the year. Were all able to hold hold knowledgeable conversations because we are given the appropriate information. fellow classmates challenge our reasoning which causes us to sit and think and re evaluate the statements we have made. the only thing we as a class need to work on are our blogs. after the mlk day blogs and we all actually realized how far behind we are im sure everybody will make a valiant effort to finish these things. the movies we have watched have been very eye opening and i hope we continue to watch these documentaries because it has shed new light on me and shown me things i would have never seen on my own. initially i thought this class would be a waste of my time and it would be filled with constant bickering between mr mccarthy and myself but now i feel me and him have come to somewhat of an understanding and are able to tolerate each other much better then i would have imagined.
