Since the tender age of 4 I have loved basketball. my love for basketball has brought about a love and appreciation for almost all sports. Sports have given me a lot of ups and downs since that early start. In 4th grade is when i began to play aau basketball, instantly everybody was better then me and progressing at a faster pace then i was so like the fourth grader i was i wanted to quit. My mother and father wouldn't let me quit and pushed me until i began to see progress in my game. When i started to realize that i was a pretty decent basketball player was around 7th or 8th grade, i still played on my aau team but i also played for my school team and a team in Dolton. i was begging to think i could i possibly play in college because high school coachs would approach me after games and calling my mother and telling her about open gyms and how they wanted me to come practice with them. i got into whintey young and everything seemed perfect until my first quarter report card of freshmen year which included all f's. after my beyond atrocious start at whintey i was infored that if i wanted to play basketball for them i had to bring my grades up. seeing as i didnt really want to work hard for basketball anymore i gave up and that was then end of my basketball career.
