MLK will always be king in my mind, even though his image continues to fade with every generation the things he did not just for blacks but for civil rights for all will never be forgotten. Every generation gets less of a connection with this extraordinary man because all they can do is watch movies on him or read a book which either of them don't give you the full effect at the time. King will remain a united states hero as long as there is still a united states. It appears that the message Dr. king preached over and over is becoming second nature to us and is apparent by the classroom we are in now. just the fact that we are all here together for a greater cause shows that MLK will always be king weather or not people have a connection with him or not. When somebody is able to make such drastic changes to an entire nation how could he ever not contiue to be king. For those KKK members in the south he was far from a king but to the rest of the same community of the united states he altered our history forever.
